‎In the harsh, dust-blown plains of the Middle Belt, an ancient cycle of b begins with a simple refusal. When King Shakyum denies a territorial deal from an ambitious neighbor, he unwittingly triggers a domino effect of betrayal and slaughter that will span generations.

‎What starts as a border dispute escalates into a brutal midnight raid. King Zavasha of Shidoom descends like a whirlwind upon the city of Shitile to avenge his brother’s murder. He leaves nothing but ash in his wake, executing King Bovaren and taking the widowed Queen Shordoo into deep captivity.

‎Three decades later, the past demands a harvest. Dooshina, the fierce successor to the broken throne of Shitile, returns to strike down the tyrant Zavasha. But inside the ruined palace, amidst the scent of burnt shea butter and ancient ghosts, a terrifying truth awaits.

‎When his secret nursery name—Doomômi—is whispered in the dark, Dooshina’s victory turns into a hollow curse. He discovers that the enemy he just slaughtered is his own biological father, and his throne is built upon an abomination that even the Benue River cannot wash clean.
